Food grade Diatomaceous Earth contains 15 trace minerals including calcium, potassium, copper, zinc, iron, phosphorous and selenium. Safe and effective when used as an organic wormer and to treat internal parasites. Diatomaceous Earth flea and tick can be used externally or internally. Internally: Add to food as directed on package
Externally: Thoroughly rub Diatomaceous Earth into pet's coat and fur to kill flea, ticks and lice.
- Daily dosage for mixing with food or water:
- Kittens--1/2 teaspoon cats--1 teaspoon
- Puppies--1/2 to 1 teaspoon Dogs less than 35 lbs.--1 teaspoon
- Dogs over 35 lbs--1 tablespoon Dogs over 100 lbs--2 tablespoons
- Birds or Chickens--5% of feed
- Can be externally applied--dust or lightly massage into the pets coat to discourage and destroy fleas, ticks, mites, and lice. Add to pet's bed as a further deterrent.
