Pet Depot is owned by the Perritt Family of Florence, Alabama. The Perritt family has been in business in the Shoals area of northwest Alabama for over 70 years. The first Pet Depot store in Florence opened for business in 1994. Store improvements continue. Pet Depot has opened 6 new stores in Cullman, Muscle Shoals, Guntersville, Jasper, Athens, and Madison in 1999, 2000 and 2003, 2004,2005, 2009,2010 respectively.
